🇮🇹 Tra le ombre della foresta, un demone si cela,
nel ventre del monaco, come un’ombra si vela.
Ma l’occhio interiore, attento e risvegliato,
vede il maligno che credeva di essere ignorato.
“Ti riconosco, demone antico,
non troverai dimora in me, non sarai il mio tormento.”
Con fermezza il monaco lo scaccia lontano,
come si spazza via la cenere al vento.
Non basta nascondere ciò che ci affligge,
bisogna vedere, affrontare e respingere.
Dentro di noi, i demoni spesso dimorano,
ma con forza e chiarezza, li scacciamo per sempre.
Riconosci il male che dentro di te giace,
affrontalo e scaccialo, come fece Moggallâno.
Solo così troverai la vera pace autentica,
e anche tu potrai risplendere, libero e puro.

Among the forest shadows, a demon hides,
within the monk’s belly, like a shadow it glides.
But the inner eye, watchful and awake,
sees the evil that thought it could fake.
“I see you, ancient demon,
you’ll find no home in me, no torment will you summon.”
With firmness, the monk casts it away,
like ashes swept off by the wind’s play.
It is not enough to hide what causes grief,
we must see it, confront it, and find relief.
Within ourselves, demons often remain,
but with strength and clarity, we break their chain.
